Since you are interested in donating a 4x4/SUV type vehicle, we will be
contacting you within the next 48 hrs. (weekends excluded) to make
arrangements to pickup the vehicle/title and get you your donation
receipt. If you live in the Kaufman Texas area, you are more than
welcome to bring the vehicle to our current Headquarters Office. When
we pickup your vehicle, we will bring all the necessary paperwork that
is needed.
Southern Search & Rescue, Inc. reserves the right to
reject any vehicle from direct donation to the charity for it's use,
without the need for any reason. Southern Search & Rescue, Inc.
will choose the vehicles that are best suited for the needs of the
charity. Any other vehicle will be referred to our vehicle donation

Your vehicle donation is 100% Tax Deductible,
up to the maximum allowable by law. Since this vehicle
is being donated for our use, you will receive a higher
donation value, than you would by sending it to our auction.
All vehicles are usually kept for no less than 2 years.
If for some reason your vehicle is sold before the 2 year
period is up, we will send you a copy of IRS Form 1098-c or
an equivalent type of document.
By donating your vehicle, you are helping to make a
difference in the lives of people that we work with.
Basic Requirements For Direct Donation
- Must Have A Clear Title
- Requires only minor repairs to make road
ready.
- No wrecked vehicles
- Better if located in Dallas/Ft. Worth area,
but other will be considered.
